As an independent, family-run veterinary practice in Narberth, we pride ourselves on being open, honest and approachable, tailoring our service to every individual. Practice Owner & Lead Vet
Bronwyn Rhodes
Bronwyn is the owner and Chief Veterinary Surgeon at Malthouse Vets. With extensive experience across all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, she leads the practice with a focus on providing the highest standards of care for pets and their owners. Bron enjoys beach walks with her children, Tadhg and Aveen, and their dogs Big Cheese and Diego, and cosy cuddles with Candy and Cariad the two Ragdoll cats.

Sophie
Sophie joined the Malthouse team as our second Vet in 2021. With an additional degree in Animal Science, and special interests in feline behaviour and medicine, Sophie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, with a true passion for animal health and well-being that guides all of her work.

Katarina
Katarina became part of the Malthouse Vets team in 2023. With her knowledge and commitment to high standards of care, she plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of the pets we see every day. At home, she enjoys life with her husband, who is also a vet, and their handsome Australian Sheepdog, Maui.

Keeley
Keeley is our Head Veterinary Nurse and has been an integral part of the Malthouse team since day one. With her experience, clinical skills and dedication to animal care, she ensures every patient receives the highest level of attention and support, both in clinic and behind the scenes. Keeley has recently welcomed her gorgeous daughter Jasmine into the world.

Casey
Casey began her career at Malthouse Vets as an apprentice Animal Care Assistant and through dedication and hard work has qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home, Casey is kept busy by Loki, her lively dappled Miniature Dachshund, and Lilo her rescue kitten.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Tegan
Tegan joined the Malthouse team as an apprentice Animal Care Assistant. Tegan has chosen to continue her career progression as a Student Veterinary Nurse. She is passionate about developing her skills in veterinary care and plays an important role in supporting our patients each day. At home, Tegan enjoys life with her Cockapoo, Ted, and her cat, Monkey.

Paige
Paige is one of our Veterinary Receptionists and one of the first friendly faces you’ll see at Malthouse Vets. She’s always ready to help with bookings, answer questions and make sure clients feel welcome. Outside of work, Paige enjoys outdoor adventures with her family and spending time with Rodney the chug, Benny the bunny..

Alice
Alice is our Veterinary Receptionist welcoming you at our front desk. Alice keeps things running smoothly while making every client feel at ease and well looked after. She enjoys walks with her family and Bumble the Welsh Springer, and has recently started to dabble with Triathlons.
Veterinary Nurse
Julia
Julia has brought to the practice a wealth of nursing knowledge and experience. In her spare time Julia loves to travel, spend time in her garden with Sid the cat and explore the countryside with her spaniels Mac and Breeze.
Office Manager
Emmie
Emmie is our Office Manager and works closely with Bron to ensure the practice is organised and efficient, supporting both the team and our clients. At home, Emmie enjoys life with her fiance, children and her pets — Marcia the elderly cat, Saffy the spirited Ragdoll, and Luna the Pomsky.
